CSU Documentation Study: Interview questions
From RG-Bibliowiki
Thank you for agreeing to participate in this research study and for completing the CSU Documentation Study Survey.
With your agreement, our discussion will be recorded with an audio recorder to enable us to concentrate on the discussion without the distraction of note taking. The recording will also aid in capturing any important issues that could otherwise be missed. The recording of the interview will be transcribed and you will be provided a copy of the transcription. All answers are considered confidential and neither your identity, nor that of your library will be revealed.
- Did the survey increase your awareness of knowledge management practices present or lacking in your library?
- Did the survey encourage conversation about knowledge management practices with your staff and/or colleagues?
- Did the survey adequately cover the range of practices, tools and resources available?
- How widely do knowledge management practices vary from department to department in your library? How does your department compare to others?
- Are there any issues raised by the survey on which you would like to comment?
Depending on survey results, I may ask some questions regarding free-form responses to questions in each section (particularly the KM tools section)
